This film was made for the Joy of 8 festival in Bristol. Shot and edited in camera and screened for the first time in public, this film has gone on to feature in the Poetry Film festival nationwide. It has also been seen on HypTV and was shown at the ICA and later on at Oblong Gallery in London. It even toured Moscow on a Cyberbus.
It is an impressionistic version of Christina Rossetti’s gothic fairy tale poem in which two sisters are tempted by goblins in the woods to eat delicious fruits.
Featuring Jade Smith and Danielle Williamson, plus Dennis Gould, Richard Austin and Rob Clucas-Tomlinson. Plus many other good people of Stroud. Soundtrack and music created by Poppy Robertson, reading by director Sarah Dixon.
